About Me

I’m Sadaf Khwaja

Biology of Trauma Trained Professional

Emotional Education and Regulation Coach

Guidance Counselor

M. Ed (Counseling) | MBA (Marketing) | ACA | ICF | ANLP

I have taught and counseled both students and re-entry adults at college levels who were unclear about their academic options, personal and career goals, and higher education possibilities.

There is nothing more liberating than freeing yourself from “preconceived notions” about the “Teenage Brain” as being just a reckless, risky phase in life. It actually starts as early as 12 years and goes till 26 years for an adult brain to develop. I am a strong advocate of “what works, and what does not” in teen parenting. Old patterns of pain, misery, misunderstanding, and hardship are released and replaced by authentic, healthy, loving, and meaningful relationships between you and your teen.

Additionally, my passion lies in supporting women who play multiple roles in their lives, unaware of how their “giving” to others create fatigue, exhaustion, chronic stress and overwhelm through constant life hits, leading to eventual health challenges, and inability to offer themselves a place of safety and support to move forward in their lives.

Ever feel like you are doing a lot, and it never ends? This is your safe space to PAUSE, and receive the support and expansion you need in your life, with creating a high level of SAFETY first!

I am proud and trained to use a holistic range of modalities using brain and body integration tools to introduce long lasting changes inside-out such as: somatic exercises, breathwork, and inner child parts work to work through any life issues creating “stuckness” towards moving forward in both personal and professional areas.

1) Emotion Regulation and Nervous System safety techniques to identify the point at which any human being gets “activated and emotionally hijacked” for any anxiety, panic, non clinical depression and other emotional states that drive unwanted behaviors.

2) Psychoeducation of mental and emotional wellbeing topics with experiential tools, and strategies.

3) Resource Referrals – connecting clients with community resources, health practitioners, licensed professionals, health coaches to enhance total wellbeing and support both emotional and physiological needs.

4) Cultural Sensitivity – paying attention to my clients cultural and religious sensitivities, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds for meaningful counseling growth and partnership.
